Hello bookworms,I have many different favorite authors.I will let you know who they are in order from my very favorite to my least favorite. They are all amazing authors/writers,and the only reason I post about them here is because they actually captivated me through their writing. They made me cry, laugh,or even get mad!Who knows, maybe your favorite authors and mine too!Let me know if you think an author should be up here.I'll read one of their books and if they caught my attention I will definitely add them here.
1.)Stephenie Meyer
Meyer says that the idea for Twilight came to her in a dream on June 2, 2003. The dream was about a human girl, and a vampire who was in love with her but thirsted for her blood. Based on this dream, Meyer wrote the draft of what is now Chapter 13 of the book. In a matter of three months she had transformed her dream into a complete novel, not to mention a PHENOMENAL book series!I love her writing because she expresses great characters, and sticks to there personalities.I love the way she describes what love can do to a person, and how it can affect what they do.She actually made me feel what the main character (Bella) felt, and her Twilight Series made me cry, sad, happy, and angry!I love authors that can do that to me,which is why she is my 1st favorite author.
2.)Alyson Noel
Alyson Noel has received many awards for her writing. She has been published in 36 countries, and over two million copies were printed in the US. She is #1 New York Times Bestseller, USA Today Bestseller, Wall Street Journal Bestseller, Publisher’s Weekly Bestseller, NCIBA Bestseller. She was chosen for the CBS Early Show's "Give the Gift of Reading" segment and Wow!Boy she gave me the gift of reading! Reading her Immortal Series books was a very interesting ride.I enjoyed the characters she describes and the way they turned out at the end. It's not just the characters but they way people can relate to them, and connect. She made want to skip to the end to her books just to see what happened! Her writing made me "good" fustrated, I was always antsy to finish the page just so I could turn it and see what happened next!I love the way she writes and that's why she is my 2nd favorite author.
